What you’ll do

Are you technical, detail-oriented, and energized by seeing things go live? Do you enjoy being the person who makes sure everything actually works?

As a Product Operations team member at Lama AI, you will manage the technical onboarding for new customers. You will work with bank/fintech partners to translate lending requirements into technical specs, configure and implement them in our system, validate, and launch. You are the link between customer needs and platform delivery.

Working with a Customer Success Manager, you'll be an autonomous, self-driven owner, comfortable with sophisticated configurations, code-level changes, and clarifying requirements. You will also collaborate with Product and R&D to address capability gaps and handle complex technical escalations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical implementation of customer onboarding projects, from requirements gathering through go-live
  • Collect requirements directly from customer champions and translate them into clear, actionable technical specs
  • Configure and implement solutions in the Lama platform
  • Validate and QA all implementations before customer handoff
  • Identify feature gaps and collaborate with Product and R&D to define and validate solutions
  • Maintain internal knowledge bases, runbooks, and project management tools (Linear, Smartsheet)
  • Serve as a higher-tier escalation point for the support team on complex technical issues

Requirements

  • Experience in a technical implementation, solutions, or operations role - ideally in SaaS or fintech
  • Problem-solving skills - you can turn ambiguous customer requirements into structured, actionable specs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
  • Self-driven and proactive - you own your deliverables end-to-end without waiting to be told what’s next
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
